Its a great organization for, well, young women in business! You get the opportunity to connect with local entrepreneurs in various industries and build your network. The Young Women in Business [YWiB] network is a non-profit society for emerging female leaders in Western Canada. The network acts as the central forum to connect ambitious young women from a variety of careers, industries, and backgrounds. We have also worked with this amazing organization for a few years. In fact, our own Andrea Baxter started out as a mentee when she first launched the Smart Cookies. In the Fall of 2010, she was asked to be a mentor for a local, start up business, sharing her growth strategies and business knowledge to another budding entrepreneur.
